Assistant Vice President

Deutsche Bank Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to develop critical banking systems and applications that support data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design databases, develop ERD, and create logical/physical data models
• Create and manage database objects including tables, partitions, views, sequences, indexes, constraints, and external tables
• Gather requirements from business users and participate in technical discussions
• Design and develop entire applications, including unit and integration testing
• Write stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex SQL queries
• Work with advanced SQL features: partitions, ref cursors, bulk collect, insert ALL, pipelining table functions, FORALL, and analytical functions
• Perform ETL processes using External Tables, SQL Loader, conditional/unconditional multi-inserts, and pipelined table functions
• Write UNIX scripts to process feed files and batch processes
• Schedule batch jobs using CRON
• Perform SQL tuning on complex queries using Explain Plan, Hints, and Index
• Troubleshoot and resolve production defects based on priority

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field, or equivalent experience
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in database design and application development

Pay

$148,410.00 - $165,000.00 per year
