Assistant Technical Project Manager
Role And Responsibilities
- Assist Sr Project Manager across the entire project lifecycle, from initial intake and system set-up to formal project launch and release.
- Monitor task completion rates within laboratory management software.
- Manage laboratory sample inventory, documentation records, and data integrity in compliance with lab protocols, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with concurrent projects.
Personal And Professional Qualifications
- Ability to understand and implement processes from SOPs and work instructions.
- Ability to review laboratory documentation against SOP requirements.
- Ability to understand FDA guidelines and regulations, ISO 17025 standard.
- Good proofreading, documenting, and editing skills (Microsoft Word/Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
- Able and willing to wear protective equipment such as gloves, lab coats and safety glasses while performing duties in the laboratory, as well as adhere to the laboratory dress code (no shorts, no open toed shoes, etc.).
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in science, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or health related field required.

Pay
Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time. Salary Range $79,000—$99,000 USD

On site in our Durham, North Carolina laboratory.
