Assistant Tech - Paid Weekly
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing procedures using specialized equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.
- Solder equipment to repair, modify, and change parts, by using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.
- Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices.
- Comply with quality performance standards.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines.
- Perform all other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Requirements
- Skilled in the operation of test equipment.
- Capable of utilizing repair tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, and soldering irons.
- Able to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques, as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine).
- Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques.
- Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
- Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.
- Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
An Assistant Technician inspects the functions of electronic devices, monitors test procedures and utilizes appropriate equipment in a warehouse environment. In this role, you will provide services to the world’s largest telecommunications and cable providers.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Warehouse/distribution center environment.
- The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
- The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
- The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
