Assistant Teacher (Todder)

About the role

The British International School of Boston is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our dynamic team. As a member of our school community, you will contribute to the holistic development of our students through a variety of teaching methods and extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
• Incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences
• Mentor and support students in developing their personal and social skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and techniques

Requirements

• Master's degree in education or related field
• At least 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
• Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and assessment tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

• Valid teaching license in the state where the position is located
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Effective classroom management skills

• Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into the classroom
