Responsibilities
- Support a safe, predictable classroom culture
- Build positive relationships with students
- Lead and support literacy and math small group instruction
- Prepare materials and help run Pursuits, Primer’s interdisciplinary curriculum for applied learning
- Notice and communicate student needs quickly
- Support the lead teacher by helping keep the classroom safe, orderly, and clean and by assisting with student supervision during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and transitions
- Follow safety protocols and support coverage needs
- Communicate clearly and follow through on tasks
Requirements
- 1 or more years of experience working with children in some capacity
- Must be willing to report to work in person
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A warm, calm presence with children
- Reliable, consistent, and proactive
- Comfortable assisting with instruction
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
