Assistant Teacher - Power Scholars Academic Enrichment Program - Summer 2026 ( Dumbarton Elementary)
Duties
- Work closely with certified teachers to implement enrichment programs for elementary school students.
- Support the development of relevant lessons.
- Ensure academic and social development of scholars.
- Work with teachers to identify scholar needs and create instructional plans.
- Monitor scholars' progress and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Supervise scholars in in-person day-to-day activities as well as special functions, such as field trips.
Qualifications
- Academic skills, including proficiency in elementary/middle school math and literacy.
- Related college level coursework, along with high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and technological skills.
- Strong relationship building, communication, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and service to diverse populations.

Pay
Starts at $16 per hour and has the opportunity to be up to 40 hours per week.
Schedule
This part-time position starts in June and ends in mid July.
