Assistant Teacher Full Time

About the role

The Goddard School in Rochester, MI is seeking assistant teachers to join our team. Positions are available for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a full day childcare and preschool environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities based on observed child interests
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s progress
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop an engaging curriculum
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and ability to work well with children and adults
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality
