Assistant Teacher - Early Learning - Full Time

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent
• 2 years (2,500 hours) verified childcare experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered
• Cultivate a sensitive, patient childcare environment for both children and families
• Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children
• Supervise each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment
• Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare
