Assistant Teacher - Early Learning

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child‑centered, and age‑appropriate lessons are offered.
• Cultivate a sensitive, patient childcare environment for both children and families.
• Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
• Supervise each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
• Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent
• 2 years (2500 hours) verified childcare experience

Pay

$16.00‑$16.50 per hour (part‑time, hourly)
