About the role

Ensure the well-being and development of infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children
Support progressive inquiry-based learning in your classroom
Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols
Perform the duties of the Head Teacher in their absence

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the well-being and development of infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children
  • Support progressive inquiry-based learning in your classroom
  • Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
  • Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols
  • Perform the duties of the Head Teacher in their absence

Requirements

  • Have 1-2 years of professional experience working with children aged 0-5
  • Hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; Associates in ECE preferred
  • Hold NC Child Development Credentials I and II

Qualifications

  • Flexible & communicative team player who's passionate about working with the youngest learners
  • Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Strong foundation in child development and a desire to grow as a career educator

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits: $12-$17 per hour based on level of education and experience

Physical Demands
