Assistant Teacher

About the role

The Goddard School in Beverly Hills, MI is seeking full-time assistant teachers to join our team. Closing shifts can be part-time or full-time, with availability up to 6 pm.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
• Observe children’s interests and work with other teachers to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum
• Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various means
• Engage with other infant, toddler, and preschool teachers and continue to grow in the field of early childhood education

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting preferred
• Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with children and adults
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
