Responsibilities
- Plan and implement educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various means.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers to develop engaging curricula.
- Assist with daily operations and ensure smooth school functions.
- Handle children safely, including lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- One year of center-based infant and/or toddler experience preferred.
- Successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
- Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally while multitasking.
- Infant and Young Toddler Teachers must be able to properly lift infants into and out of cribs.
- Background check eligibility required.
