Main Job Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
Requirements
- A high school diploma OR GED
- The ability to pass all background checks
- A plus if you have previous childcare experience
Qualifications
- Full-time position
- Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm shift
Compensation
$15.50 - $17.00/hr. based on education and experience.

The Elegant Child in Wildwood is a licensed childcare center seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for our Two-year-old classroom.
