Assistant Teacher

Main Job Responsibilities

• Aid the lead teacher with classroom management.
• Implement educational activities tailored to emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Create and maintain a clean, safe environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with families to ensure quality care.
• Perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing stairs, lifting up to 40 lbs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass all background checks.
• Previous childcare experience in a licensed center preferred.

Compensation

$17.25-$19.00/hr, based on education and experience.
