Main Job Responsibilities
- Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed.
- This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members before or after their scheduled shifts.
- Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
- Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma OR GED.
- The ability to pass all background checks.
- A plus if you have previous childcare experience.
Pay
$17-$18/hour, based on education and experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, Full time, 8:30am-5:30pm.
