About the role
We are seeking an assistant teacher who is passionate about nurturing young minds, connecting with our community, and having fun.
Responsibilities
- Aid in planning and implementing dynamic curricula to offer fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons.
- Cultivate a sensitive, patient childcare environment for both children and families.
- Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
- Safeguard each child in your care by identifying, hearing, directing, and assisting them, always ensuring a safe environment.
- Comply with YMCA, state, and quality rating systems policies and guidelines for maintaining high standards in childcare.
Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Two years (2500 hours) of verified childcare experience.
