Assistant Swim Coach (Non-Teaching) - EHS

About the role

This position assists the Varsity Head Swimming Coach in supporting the high school swimming program. The primary focus is on mentoring, recruiting, training, coaching, and coordinating aspects of the program, with the development of student-athletes being the top priority.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train student-athletes
• Recruit new swimmers
• Coach swimmers
• Cookordination of program activities

Education/Experience

• Successful (recent) experience in a swimming program (within last five (5) years) (desirable)
• Experience working directly with collegiate and/or public school districts (desirable)
• Bachelor’s degree (desirable)
• Experience as a certificated staff member (desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to lead young adults in an athletic setting
• Working knowledge of CIF rules/regulations
• Effective oral and written communication
• Strong organizational skills
