About the role
The Athletic Department at Elizabethtown College is seeking a part-time Assistant Swim Coach to support the Head Coach in organizing and administering the College’s intercollegiate Men’s & Women’s Swim programs.
Responsibilities
- Aid the Head Coach with the organization and administration of the College’s intercollegiate Men’s & Women’s Swim programs.
- Mentor, motivate, and develop student athletes in a Division III educational environment.
- Assist the Head Coach with practices, contests, recruitment, and scouting.
- Work with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Ensure the athletic program is conducted in accordance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of coaching experience, preferably on the college level, is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver’s license for business travel purposes (individual must have a US driver’s license for at least three years and also be qualified under College policy to transport students in college-owned and/or leased vehicles).
- CPR, AED and 1st Aid certification also is required.
