About the role
Lead and develop team members of the Park Quality team. Primary focus is to maximize park presentation in restroom facilities through efficiency and effectiveness of work while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Execute common tasks for park quality including: top to bottom restroom cleaning, stocking restroom supplies, general cleaning and sanitizing.
- Enthusiastically represents the organization by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job
- Ensure a safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
- Responsible for the development of OJT's and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching
- Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures
- Ensure ambassadors receive break and meal periods in accordance with company policy and applicable law
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improve
- Maintain inventory and stock/replace areas supplies and equipment as needed
- Monitor daily labor to align with labor budget and daily attendance
- Conduct equipment and safety checks in compliance with department and company standards
- Attend to ambassadors and follow park protocol in emergency situations
- Respond to ambassador and guest needs
- Communicate effectively with other areas within the department as well as other departments in the park
- Track information to complete daily and weekly reports
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, ethnic/cultural backgrounds, and/or language, and individuals with special needs
- Possession of a valid state driver's license preferred
- Able to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification
- Able to be trained and certified at all assigned areas and job functions
- Able to climb stairs/ladders
- Able to operate and maneuver in/around tight spaces
- Able to use necessary equipment for cleaning
- Comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations
- Able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
- Able to train on and properly use protective gear
- Comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor
- Able to bend, sit, stand, squat, stoop, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms at shoulder level or below, climb and reach with hands and arms above shoulder level
- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team members
- Able to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
Schedule
- During peak season, at least 4 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
- During the off season, at least 3 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day, and availability to work holidays
