About the Role

Join SeaWorld as an Ambassador and play an important part on our team, helping to bring joy, excitement, and lasting memories to guests while ensuring the safety and well-being of ambassadors, guests, and animals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animals.
  • Develop ambassadors by providing training, feedback, and coaching.
  • Maintain a secure, accurate, and timely flow of goods and merchandise between the warehouse, internal support staff, and external clientele.
  • Receive, check-in, price mark (if applicable), store, and transport resale merchandise and supplies used by the parks.
  • Record and dispose of non-salable merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate temperature logs.
  • Provide front-line leadership support in policies and procedures, personnel, security, and safety of all warehouse and receiving locations.
  • Recommend improvements in policies and procedures relating to your assigned area.
  • Take accurate and timely stock counts to maintain a balanced flow of goods.
  • Minimize loss of company property or merchandise due to damage or theft.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse, including detail cleaning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a company driver’s license.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to obtain SeaWorld forklift certification and Class D driver’s license.
  • Comfortable working with all food types, including food allergens in dining facilities.
  • Able to complete and pass provided CPR training/certification.
  • Contingent on successful completion of the ServSafe Food Manager certification test.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Able to climb a ladder to heights up to 12 feet.
  • Able to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests, and leadership.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to push/pull 300 pounds with assistance.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, including opening and closing shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Possession or pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge of SAP applications.
