Assistant Superintendent, Woodstock Club
About the role
The Assistant Superintendent will work with the Golf Course Superintendent in all aspects of daily operations. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Category 3B certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Woodstock Club has a new Toro Infinity Irrigation system with a new pump station. We have continued capital projects in the future to keep improving the property.
Responsibilities
- Staff management, scheduling and training
- Irrigation management, troubleshooting and repair
- Daily course and grounds operations
- Aerification and cultural practices
- Maintain turf health and moisture management
- Perform chemical and fertilizer applications
Requirements
Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Category 3B certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Qualifications
Knowledge of golf course maintenance practices, including irrigation management, aerification, and cultural practices. Ability to manage staff and perform chemical and fertilizer applications.
Skills
Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to irrigation and turf care.
