Assistant Superintendent - Traveling

The Role

The Assistant Superintendent plays a key role in supporting on-site project leadership for major industrial construction projects. Our projects are in the following states: MS, IL, IN, OH, NC, VA and GA.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily on-site field management for industrial construction projects.
• Support coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain workflow and resolve conflicts.
• Conduct daily site walks, maintain logs, and document progress, issues, and quality checks.
• Aid in scheduling, look-ahead planning, and updating progress reports.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure work aligns with project requirements.
• Help track materials, deliveries, and equipment usage to avoid delays.
• Support quality control inspections and help implement corrective actions when needed.
• Communicate routinely with the Superintendent and Project Manager regarding site conditions, challenges, and progress.

Requirements

• 3+ years of post-grad construction experience.
• 1+ years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Industrial Construction experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Willingness to travel.
