Assistant Superintendent - Renewable Energy

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Follow and ensure company compliance with TWG Health and Safety Plan
  • Manage and plan work with Construction Manager, General Superintendent and Foreman
  • Cookordinate and communicate crew material needs to project engineers to ensure timely delivery
  • Daily POD reporting to field office
  • Plan the work – Be sure all required tools, materials, manpower etc. are lined up to support the work schedule
  • Cookordinate with General Superintendent as required
  • Provide field level input into schedule updates and three week look ahead
  • Completion of timesheets for craft labor; manage and ensure accurate reporting and input of hours into appropriate time tracking application
  • Understand expected productions and monitor progress daily
  • Actively participate in the QA/QC process
  • Ensure daily third-party inspection reports are completed and submitted daily or as required by owners and TWG policy
  • Manage all aspects of the laydown yards to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility scale solar or wind energy work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with owners and vendors
  • Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan specs, material deliveries and job site productivity
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations
  • Ability to travel throughout New York State

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $110,000-$130,000 depending on experience
