Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise subcontractors and construction workers, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between the project manager, superintendent, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Cookpordiate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on the site promptly and effectively.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure all site activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor progress against project milestones and report any deviations to the Superintendent and Project Managers.
- Help plan and organize site logistics to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, safety incidents, and deliveries.
- Prepare and submit reports on project status, including any delays or issues encountered.
- Aid in the preparation and submission of required project documentation.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in construction preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices, concerning Electrical scope. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others. Excellent organizational and time management skills. High level of attention to detail, and highly organized. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees. Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Additional Requirements: Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
