Assistant Superintendent, Construction
Opportunity
We are expanding our team and seeking talented General Construction professionals to join our innovative data center project. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the growth of the data center industry.
Responsibilities
Plan and supervise construction activities, including determining methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or contractors.
Resolve construction problems and maintain communication with unions.
Monitor compliance with safety programs and document corrective measures.
Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedules.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
Track project progress through metrics and reporting, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or challenges.
Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with regulations.
Seek ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative technologies or methodologies.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent, and five (5) + years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, commercial or industrial projects.
Must have experience working on Commercial or Industrial projects with budgets of at least $15M.
Experience in MEP, Concrete, Steel, Underground Utilities, Fire Alarm, Building Finishes and Enclosure systems.
A valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%.
Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, and cost control.
Experience supervising, motivating, and mentoring cross-functional teams.
Successful background maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality outcomes.
