Assistant Superintendent, Construction

Opportunity

We are expanding our team and seeking talented General Construction professionals to join our innovative data center project. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the growth of the data center industry.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) + years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, commercial or industrial projects
• Experience working on Commercial or Industrial projects with budgets of at least $15M
• Experience in MEP, Concrete, Steel, Underground Utilities, Fire Alarm, Building Finishes and Enclosure systems
• A valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control
• Experience supervising, motivating, and mentoring cross-functional teams
• Successful background in maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality outcomes

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Strategy: Plan and supervise construction activities, determine methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Team Leadership: Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or contractors, resolve construction problems, and maintain communication with unions
• Resource Management: Monitor compliance with safety programs and document corrective measures, ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedules
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns
• Performance Monitoring: Track project progress through metrics and reporting, adjust plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or challenges
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with regulations
• Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative technologies or methodologies

Location

You can be located anywhere in the US, but must be willing to travel to our client projects on a long-term basis.
