About the Role
This position is responsible for supporting the Superintendent by assisting in the supervision of all on-site construction for the jobsite. Supervise and coordinate activities of field employees, subcontractors and material vendors to expedite the project schedule. Maintain daily progress reporting and paperwork such as daily reports including pictures of work progress, payroll and equipment time reporting for crew, field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of important issues. Participate and speak to entire project team and trade contractors regarding schedule, safety, cleanliness and manpower needs to perform needed activities to successfully deliver the project on time. Manage the permit and inspection process and attending or conducting regularly scheduled progress meetings.
Qualifications
Must possess the ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, subcontracts, and the owner agreement terms and conditions specific to your role. Must possess the ability to understand project scheduling and cost control. Must demonstrate good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies on project plans. May require performing general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
