Key Responsibilities

  • Aid the Superintendent in coordinating all construction activities on assigned projects.
  • Support the supervision of crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
  • Maintain project documentation, including logs, reports, and safety records.
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety on-site.
  • Track project progress, assist with scheduling updates, and communicate field conditions to the project team.
  • Support client, inspector, and building official interactions to ensure smooth communication and compliance.
  • Auxiliary in implementing cost-effective strategies and problem-solving field challenges.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and site logistics.
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Estimating teams to align field operations with project plans.
  • Uphold Persons Services’ Core Values and represent the company with professionalism.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction field operations (internship or co-op experience considered).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Construction/Science, or related field (preferred).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive, “hands-on” approach to problem solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction management software.
  • Experience using smartphones and tablets in conjunction with field management software.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and trade practices.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and develop into a future Superintendent role.
