Responsibilities
- Become proficient with the creation and maintenance of job schedule that defines the critical path and shows completion of the project according to contract completion dates and building turnover sequence.
- Prepare, submit, and distribute RFIs (Requests for Information) as needed.
- Absorb and document project changes, maintain accurate records, redline updates, and correspondence.
- Ensure all work adheres to OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Aid the Superintendent in RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations.
- Constantly monitor work in progress, prepare change orders and purchase orders, and review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Maintain accurate work logs of construction activities, such as tracking change orders, purchase orders, and sub-contractor performance.
- Aid construction project managers in estimating and adhering to proper budgets, creating project schedules, and communicating project updates.
- Review job cost reports and pay applications.
- Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe.
- 1+ years of experience working in multifamily construction.
- Strong written and verbal correspondence skills.
- Yardi experience a plus.
- Autodesk/Procore experience is a plus.
