Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced Superintendents in overseeing the physical construction of the project.
• Ensure the project is delivered with a high level of quality, profitability, and meets or exceeds the construction schedule.
• Assist the Project Superintendent in managing the construction process and relationships with clients, subcontractors, and Shawmut staff.
• Develop a big picture understanding of the project through drawing and document reviews.
• Manage tools, processes, and other requirements prior to the start of a project and throughout the project lifecycle.
• Process permits and manage submittals and EWAs.
• Cookordinate trade execution of punch list items.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an Assistant Superintendent with a reputable General Contractor or Construction Management firm.
• Experience in field construction and/or with a subcontractor.
• Experience with a variety of projects consistent with Shawmut projects.
• Experience with Procore, CMiC, MS Office Suites a plus.

Pay

Salary Range Information: RI Base Salary Range : $86,000 – $116,000. The range stated is specific to New England Placement. The range listed depends on many factors, including, but not limited to, years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles), and internal company equity.
