Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projects in various sectors including commercial/industrial, education, multi-family, and healthcare.
• Develop and manage project schedules.
• Manage subcontractor performance relationships.
• Be responsible for the timeliness and total quality of assigned projects.
• Prepare project documentation for coordination and effective site management.
• Implement and execute Quality Control/Quality Assurance programs.
• Promote an injury-free job site through safety initiatives and Samet's award-winning safety program.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a project superintendent.
• An understanding of LEAN construction practices and LEED Green Building requirements.
• A leadership style that thrives in a team-oriented environment.
• The ability to develop relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and other trade partners.
• A willingness to learn new approaches and tools, stay updated with industry technology, and possess strong computer skills.
• Able to travel and take remote assignments.
