Responsibilities
- Aid the superintendent in maintaining the physical appearance and condition of cemetery grounds, funeral homes, mausoleums, crematories, buildings, roads, and walkways.
- Operate equipment safely and carefully.
- Ensure all members of the caretaker team comply with Federal (OSHA), state, and local safety requirements.
- Be prepared to perform any role required in groundskeeping and facilities maintenance.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in maintaining grounds, particularly in a cemetery setting.
- At least 1 year of experience in managing or leading maintenance workers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA laws.
- Show professional communication and strong leadership skills.
