The Golf Club at Lansdowne is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our dynamic team. Located in scenic Loudoun County, VA, we are a premier private club with over 700 members and three championship courses. We are committed to sustainability and offer opportunities for professional growth and tournament support.

Responsibilities

• Daily course maintenance and playability enhancements
• Team leadership – training, developing, and managing staff
• Moisture management & turf health strategies
• Cultural practices and pesticide/fertilizer applications
• Project management – contributing to future capital improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Turfgrass Management, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or related field
• Knowledge of golf course management practices and agronomic principles
• Experience with irrigation systems and pest/disease management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in golf course management software and technology
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of sustainable golf course management practices

Pay

$75,000 - $80,000 annually
