Responsibilities
- Designs year-long, comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams to include pre season, in season, post season and off season training cycles.
- Assists in scheduling, managing and maintenance of three varsity weight rooms.
- Tests and evaluates student athletes to track progress of program.
- Mets regularly with coaches and athletic trainers to keep updated on student athletes' status.
- Supervises and trains student employees.
Required Skills And Abilities
- Proven organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, or a related field and two years of experience in collegiate strength and conditioning working in a multi-sport environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required License(s) or Certification(s)
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)
- Certified First Aid / CPR
