Assistant Store Manager (Sur La Table)

About the role

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations including inventory management, stock rotation, and order fulfillment.
• Manage a team of associates to ensure they meet performance standards and provide exceptional customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in store events and promotions to drive traffic and sales.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail management experience.
• Proven ability to manage a team and motivate employees.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Saturday, with some evening and weekend shifts required.
