About the role
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
- Serves as a point person for the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Supports the Store Manager in developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
- Ensures maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement is 18.
- Prior retail management experience is required.
- Flexible schedule is necessary due to the physical demands of the job.
- Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- Must have prior retail management experience.
Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with inventory control and cost management.
- Knowledge of guest services and customer service principles.

Pay
Hourly rate ranges from $17.25 - $17.50 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
