About the role

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. They support the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store.
• Ensures maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage.
• Develops and maintains Guest Services.
• Controls expenses and shrinkage.
• Manages inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
• Physical demands: In excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills.

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $14.75 - $15.00 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
