About the role

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. They support the Store Manager in various tasks including managing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, merchandising, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store
• Develops staff to ensure maximum sales and profitability
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
• Manages merchandise and inventory control
• Oversees daily operations to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Prior retail and/or management experience required
• Physical demands: In excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $15.73 - $15.98 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
