About The Position
With over 430 retail stores worldwide, our Store Leadership Teams play a crucial role in our business. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in ensuring effective store operations, driving sales, and increasing profitability. Your role involves providing leadership and direction to store staff, executing plans to enhance employee productivity, and supporting the Store Manager in various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates.
- Execute and support plans to enhance employee productivity and performance.
- Aid the Store Manager in interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching staff, as necessary.
- Offer coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis to ensure staff performance standards are met.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels through effective replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication.
- Assist the Store Manager in developing and implementing action plans to address issues related to store sales, goals, safety, training, and personnel development.
Requirements
- No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position or specialization
- Proficiency in operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephones
- Ability to use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems
- Effective communication skills; able to exchange ideas and information with the store leadership team, associates, and consumers

Pay & Schedule
The pay range for this position is $23.09 - $34.63 per hour, with an expected pay range for hire at $23.09 - $30.79 per hour. Pay decisions are based on market rates, individual qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
