About the role
The Assistant Store Manager at SmartStop® Self Storage, Store #1506 in Glendale, AZ, plays a crucial part in all aspects of the operation. This includes leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining positive tenant relationships.
Responsibilities
- Rent storage units
- Prepare rental agreements
- Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
- Clean vacated units and maintain general cleanliness of the property
- Promote and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers
- Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
- Maintain general curb appeal
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
- Requires a background check
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Company
Requirements
- Enjoys providing exceptional customer service while effectively selling all aspects of the rental experience
- Excellent communication skills

Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm
