Assistant Store Manager

The Management in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role designed to prepare employees for future management roles, potentially leading to Assistant Store Manager positions within 6-8 months.

Qualification

• An Associate degree in Business Administration or related fields is required.
• 1 year of managerial experience or equivalent in a retail setting is required.
• Bilingual in English/Mandarin, English/Cantonese, or English/Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Currently possess or have the ability to possess a Food Handler’s certificate.

• Knowledge of food production process, product lines, and labeling.
• Knowledge and understanding of employment laws, including compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations established by the company and government.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking are required.
• Ability to use manual dexterity to grasp, manipulate, and assemble objects.
• Ability to work in an environment that may be wet and dry and with varying temperatures and noises.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds at times or more with appropriate equipment.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Salary: Start at $22-25/hour.
• Store location: Working & Training will take place across various locations based on program rotations, including retail stores, headquarters, and logistics centers, depending on business and company needs, providing participants with comprehensive hands-on experience across different areas of the business.
