Assistant Store Manager - Houston Premium Outlets
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate leadership by playing an active role on the selling floor
- Support the sales process as needed
- Aid in resolving customer issues
- Model the standards for customer service
- Upkeep company and store standards, policies, and procedures
- Ensure store visual merchandising standards are met and maintained
- Support the Visual Team in planning and executing visual changes
- Review sales data frequently and take corrective actions to enhance visual merchandising
- Provide guidance to sales and support teams – deliver constructive feedback and learning opportunities
- Support the Store Manager with recruitment, training, development, and succession planning
- Develop, train, and motivate associates towards achieving and exceeding sales objectives
- Support the Store Manager in managing day-to-day operations to meet key performance indicators and profit and loss targets
- Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink rates within company standards by regularly following up with operations and implementing initiatives as needed
- Perform any special projects or tasks as directed by the Store Manager
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ retail experience
- Previous experience managing others within a customer service environment required
- Proven record of motivating, developing, and coaching team members
- Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze retail KPIs and on-floor behaviors
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about the customer experience
- Ability to connect to the customer through excellent service, strong visual presentation, and business acumen
