Assistant Store Manager (Garden City, NY)

Role and Responsibilities
Sales-First Culture Champion: Lead SFL/MOD roles and model personal sales performance.
Sales & Operational Support: Partner with the Store Manager to hit sales targets, analyze performance metrics, and implement action plans that drive growth.
Experience Excellence: Execute immersive demos, workshops, and promotional events to ensure every customer leaves informed, delighted, and inspired.
Team Coaching & Development: Mentor Brand Ambassadors through real-time feedback, training, and recognition programs that build capability and confidence.
Floor Leadership: Lead the sales floor during peak hours, ensuring smooth customer flow, team alignment, and operational compliance.
Talent & Scheduling: Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling associates to maintain optimal coverage and a culture of accountability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Store Technology, Repairs, Visual Merchandising, and Corporate Support to ensure seamless store operations and SOP compliance.
Opening & Closing Procedures: Execute all opening and closing tasks and work required hours during holidays, launches, and other peak seasons.
What You Bring
Retail Pro: 4+ years in big-box or specialty retail, with 2+ years in a supervisory or advanced associate role.
Consumer Electronics Savvy: Understanding of smartphones, wearables, and connected ecosystems, and ability to convey their value to customers.
People-First Coach: Exceptional communication and mentoring skills, adept at motivating teams to exceed expectations.
Analytical & Action-Oriented: Leverage data to guide decisions and take swift action to capitalize on opportunities.
Adaptable & Collaborative: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Salary Range
The salary range for this role, for candidates based in NYC is expected to be between $85,000 and $92,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
