About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports maintaining a clean, organized store with a customer-first approach. Under the Store Manager's guidance, they supervise employees, manage merchandise presentation, handle paperwork, and prepare deposits. In the absence of the Store Manager, they help manage store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and operate cash registers
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures
• Help with employee scheduling, training, and safety meetings
• Ensure policy compliance across store operations
• Manage merchandise through receiving, stocking, restocking, and display setup
• Maintain accurate inventory levels
• Assist in implementing planograms and ensuring merchandise presentation aligns with standards
• Handle financial tasks including cashier accountability, key control, security practices, cash handling, and deposit management
