About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the overall operation of the store with a customer-first approach, ensuring a clean and organized environment. They assist with supervising employees, managing merchandise presentation, completing paperwork, and preparing deposits.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Operate cash registers
• Open and close the store
• Help with employee scheduling and training
• Manage inventory through receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise
• Maintain accurate stock levels
• Implement planograms
• Oversee cashier accountability, cash handling, and security procedures
• Authorize refunds and count tills
• Support store management in the absence of the Store Manager to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and asset protection
