A rare opportunity exists for an Assistant Store Manager to join the Chicago boutique. In this role, you will partner with the Store Manager to lead a team of passionate brand ambassadors while embodying the Zimmermann brand—bringing optimism, creativity, and sophistication to everything you do. You will inspire the team by leading by example, fostering a collaborative and motivating environment that aligns with the brand’s vision.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership, serve as a role model, and uphold the highest standards for all team members.
- Maximize sales by delivering excellence in client service, visual presentation, and creating a memorable brand experience.
- Ensure all team members achieve superior standards in client service, brand knowledge, and product knowledge.
- Promote a collaborative and enjoyable working environment that encourages passion, focus, and discipline.
- Drive the recruitment process in alignment with Zimmermann’s Diversity and Inclusion vision.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve individual and collective sales targets while fostering strong team morale and a positive workplace attitude.
- Maintain a consistent, high standard of visual presentation reflective of the brand’s directives.
- Oversee store operations, including stockroom management and leading Stock Coordinators through stocktakes in accordance with Zimmermann policy and procedure.
- Uphold and promote the non-negotiable standards of work health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure administration is carried out accurately and efficiently in line with Zimmermann’s policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role or client service environment, preferably in luxury retail.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Passion for the brand and the fashion retail industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with team members and clientele.
