Assistant Store Manager, CA
Position Summary
VIVAIA is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading daily retail operations, driving sales performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Support the achievement of sales goals, KPIs, and store performance metrics.
Build strong customer relationships and promote brand loyalty through personalized service.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching team members.
Motivate associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.
Provide ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and recognition.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and loss prevention practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Manage inventory processes, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
Assist in scheduling and labor management to support business needs.
Support local marketing initiatives, in-store events, and promotional activities.
Partner with the Store Manager to execute company strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
2-4 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in footwear, apparel, fashion, or lifestyle retail.
Proven ability to drive sales and achieve performance goals.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds during shifts.
Preferred qualifications: Experience with premium footwear or fashion brands, Knowledge of retail inventory management systems and POS platforms, Passion for sustainable fashion and environmentally conscious products.
