Assistant Store Manager (Bilingual)

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) role at TitleMax Houston, TX supports customers in managing their financial needs while gaining hands-on experience in running a store. Key responsibilities include maximizing customer success, assessing financial transactions, overseeing account management, and supporting team members.
Responsibilities
- Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
- Audit and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary products.
- Manage daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships.
- Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls, while maintaining customer service.
- Maintain customer information in the point of sale (POS) system with accuracy and integrity.
- Support, coach, and develop Customer Service Representatives to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety procedures.
- Perform duties outside of the office, including on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing.
- Work to meet performance standards by leveraging partnerships, referrals, and in-store/community events.
- Conduct store audits, create reports, and compile financial data to ensure compliance.
- Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail
- At least three months’ supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama)
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
Skills
- Management experience in retail, finance, or related industries
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, and money order processing

Pay
The hourly wage for the position is $16.00 per hour.
Schedule
A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40 hours per week. Store hours, schedules, and/or the minimum number of hours required may vary by brand and be subject to change by the Company.
