About the role

Operational excellence in execution of daily store procedures, payroll management, cash handling and inventory control.

Supports the Store Manager in leading the team in achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and financial plan with a primary focus on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment.

Assesses and strategizes how to drive performance goals (Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour and other measurable KPI’s).

Aid in the interviewing, hiring, training and retention of store team.

Support the onboarding process for new hires, educating on Beyond Yoga core values, product knowledge, selling culture, and other employee responsibilities.

Execute flawless store visual presentation by following corporate visual direction and recommending merchandising adaptations where needed.

Ensure sound product inventory management through accurate receiving and sending processes, aids in the completion of all required business directives (ex. price changes/retickets, RTVs, markdowns, transfers); Prevent losses by educating associates on customer service and ensuring company policies are being followed.

Coach and develop staff to increase their knowledge and skill sets, providing opportunities for continued development and growth within the organization.

Manage minor employee relations issues including performance management.

Hold associates accountable for following Beyond Yoga and LS&Co policies and procedures.

Build relationships and foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.

Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners on building connections with the local community by way of events, drive brand awareness and engagement.

Be a brand ambassador that embodies and can cultivate the company’s core values.

Requirements

  • Enjoy being busy and juggling multiple tasks, accomplishing multiple tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, enjoys learning new tools and adaptable to new initiatives.
  • Progressive retail leadership experience and proven skills in supervising, coaching and training.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions and able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Experience with retail operations and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $20.05 to $33.40.

Schedule

Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
