Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities in a convenience-store environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop employees and assign store responsibilities
• Schedule employees for shifts
• Resolve store issues, including customer concerns
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions
• Monitor profits through end-of-day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car-wash operations, and retail waste

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment
• One year of experience supervising others in a fast-food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operation preferred
